Corporate Social Responsibility
In these testing economic times, company giving – now frequently referred to as Corporate Social Responsibility – might not be a priority to businesses who are feeling the pinch.
However, we like to think that working with us will enable you and your employees to gain something that can benefit your organisation while making a telling contribution to the lives of some very worthy children in Nepal.
Get something out of your Corporate Social Responsibility
Most organisations now have firm policy guidelines on their corporate social responsibility. Whereas in the past the approach to charitable giving was ad hoc and often left to individual discretion, the culture has shifted towards a more formal philanthropic outlook in which companies – big and small – define their relationships with charities and good causes at the start of each financial year.
Many even create their own foundations and departments to coordinate their charitable contributions – and in the process the company gains a great deal of reward, too.
Corporate Partnerships
We obviously seek socially-responsible partners who can help us to raise our profile and generate much-needed funds for our work in Nepal, but we are also well aware that for any agreement to work, we have to complement their brand and help them.
There is a plethora of endorsement schemes between companies and charities that are effective in raising the profile of both parties while actively generating funds for the charity.
We believe that our exceptional circumstances – not many charities rescue Nepali children trafficked into Indian circuses and then provide a comprehensive rehabilitation programme for them – make us an ideal partner for companies with a range of business specialisations and diverse target audiences who are looking to do something different.
Commission a Corporate Mosaic
Your company logo could be made into a beautiful mosaic that is displayed in your premises and attracts the attention of your clients and visitors.
Commissioning the mosaic could address your corporate social responsibility in itself, or it could be a visual way to promote awareness of other fundraising activities you may encourage your employees to participate in for us.
Please contact director Philip Holmes at philip.holmes@ebtrust.org.uk if you are interested in discussing a mosaic commission as part of your CSR. For all other enquiries please contact Chris Kendrick
